MDI-Mitteldeutsche Immobilien GmbH, along with its associated companies, is a multi-family office specializing in the acquisition and ongoing management of both private and third-party real estate assets. Investments in individual properties or real estate portfolios are owned by investors with whom we maintain or seek long-term partnerships.

For our investors, we provide sustainable asset security combined with continuous distributions.

Invest­ment

Achieving our planned economic and timeline project goals is our top priority.

We acquire individual properties or build real estate portfolios with the goal of value creation. We first define an investment strategy, followed by the acquisition of suitable properties and the complete transaction process, including a detailed due diligence review in collaboration with partner firms. When acquiring properties, we place a strong emphasis on minimizing investment risks.

With our partners (investors) we acquire assets based on jointly defined risk and return expectations. Additionally, we also offer equity participation in our properties, real estate portfolios, or project developments.

Depending on our business plan strategy, the properties are either held in our portfolio for the long term or sold after a pre-defined period.

Asset Management

We oversee all services and stakeholders involved in the investment, securing and increasing rental income through proactive tenant and leasing management.

Comprehensive real estate management involves multiple partners and service providers: brokers facilitate rental and purchase transactions, property management companies handle financial flows and daily operations, planners oversee renovations, refurbishments, and new construction, and banks finance properties as well as major construction and modernization projects.
Throughout the holding phase, our specialists manage all aspects of the property. We coordinate all services related to real estate investment and continuously evaluate the cost-effectiveness of existing contracts to maximize value creation. The sustainable safeguarding and growth of rental income is our highest priority. Tenant concerns and leasing matters are always handled personally and proactively.

Stiftung Kulturkorridor Gera

An empty gallery in a villa in Gera inspired Helmut Mau to establish the "Stiftung Kulturkorridor Gera" in November 2020. The foundation actively promotes artistic and cultural education for children and young people, organizes exhibitions, and supports various projects. Its primary focus is fostering young talent in fine arts and music through exhibitions, competitions, and workshops. Since its inception, the foundation has made significant progress and looks confidently toward the future, continuing to support art, culture, and education, particularly young visual artists at the national and international levels.
